Ferret makes a name ...

SCH Two Colors a 2013 bay paintbred gelding, affectionaltely known as 'Ferret', has been a delight to train. He was our first Ten Colors (USA) foal out of our mare Oaks N Diamonds and we decided to keep him for our performance gelding. With limited outings he has won Ranch classes at the Paint Nationals and money doing ABCRA Ranch Sorting.

We have started him on Reined Cow Horse work but recently we have had to turn him out, due to the drought and having other commitments at the farm. We are sure looking forward to campaigning with him again in the future!

SCH Mr Smarty Oak (Painted Smarty Oak x BNT Miss Smartalena) is a 2015 paintbred gelding, doing really well with his new owner in reined cowhorse and ranch sorting.

Strawberry Boons
Strawberry Boon (Smartys High Card x Boonstyle Kat) is a 2011 quarter horse gelding bred by us here at Sunrise. He was the high selling gelding at the 2018 Toowoomba Landmark horse sale, selling for $25,000.

Acres Of Colour is a 2014 mare by Color Me Smart (USA) (x Acres Of Clover) who has been successful as a cutter with trainer Steve Byrne.

SCH Cats Smart Jackson tobiano gelding by Cats Jackhammer from Oaks n Diamonds, is a handy cutter trained by owner Lori Mackay.
